Our Ministries

Island Community Church supports a number of ministries including local and international missions. There are many opportunities to get involved.

P.U.R.S.U.I.T. Youth Ministry

Passionately understanding redemption, seeking urgently its truth. Pursuit Youth Ministry is lead by Michael Kumher. The vision of Pursuit is to assist and equip parents with the tools to lead their children  biblically.

Music Ministry     

Our worship ministry is lead by Michael Kumher. We have contemporary style worship with a praise team and various songs, which include some of the traditional hymns in a more modern style. The music is projected overhead and allows worshipers to lift their heads and hands in praise to God. 

Children’s Ministry

The ladies in our church are dedicated to lead our children in a Christmas program, summer Vacation Bible School and other events throughout the year. We care about children and we believe that they are the life of our church.

Missions Ministry

We serve a dozen different ministries, families and agencies throughout the world. Some of our mission's ministries are starting churches and others are reaching out to the homeless at home and abroad. Many of our people are involved in world missions as well and travel to Central & South America, the Caribbean Islands, Europe, Africa and Asia. Besides this, we have various missionary projects that we are involved in here at home.

Men’s Ministry

The men of our church meet every Friday morning in the kitchen for prayer .

Benevolence Ministry

The deacon's of our church reach out to needy people in every way that the Lord leads us. As a church dedicated to its members, we strive to meet the financial difficulties of members of our people first. As we have opportunity, ability and the leading of God, we also reach out to the community.

Visitation Ministry

Our people visit individuals and families to encourage them in their walk through this life and in their search for a closer relationship with our Lord God Jesus Christ. We also have faithful members who bring their guests to join us in our weekly worship service. You too are welcome to join us and be a part of our congregation.

Other Ministries

As Jesus leads us and as people grow in Him, we believe in developing any area of ministry that is edifying and profitable for the glorification of God, for the encouragement of the believers and for the evangelization of the lost. One of those ministries is reaching the homeless of Brevard county. A Door of Hope Ministries has partnered with us to reach the neediest people of our society.
